Forgotten Tree

In this project, I focused on practicing my lighting skills in Unreal Engine. I chose a cave setting because I loved the idea of a light beam entering a cave and wanted to test out that element. It proved challenging at the start, as I had to make the light ray on the tree visible while ensuring the cave was lit without being too dark or too bright. However, I ultimately achieved my vision using fog and some area lights.

Additionally, I explored how fire works in Unreal Engine with the torches, adding another layer of complexity to the scene. I also incorporated many elements from my previous project, such as foliage, and reused the same rocks from my last paradise project. This continuity allowed me to see my growth in Unreal Engine as I successfully integrated elements from one project into another.

Overall, this was a fun and rewarding project. Everything, from lighting to placement and planning, was done by me, showcasing my development and skill in using Unreal Engine.
